Barry S. Jacobson has had a long and varied career in government service prior to entering private practice. As a NYC Assistant Corporation Counsel, Mr. Jacobson prosecuted juvenile offenders and dead beat child support offenders in the NYC Family Courts. As an Assistant District Attorney, he prosecuted all manner of crimes, but concentrated in motor vehicle realated and white collar offenses. As Associate Counsel to the NY Dept. of Health Office of Professional Medical Conduct, he prosecuted Drs and other health professionals for licensure offenses. As an Administrative Law Judge for the Dept. of Motor Vehicles and Sr. Administrative Law Judge for NYC's Parking Violations Bureau, he presided over thousands of traffic related trials, becoming President of NY's Admin. Law Judge's Association, head of the union local representing administrative judges, and visiting judge in Western NY state.

Since entering private practice, Mr. Jacobson has served as an Arbitrator for the NY State and NY City Courts, and has presided over numerous cases at the NASD and AAA. He has been appointed referee and special referee in numerous cases.

Mr. Jacobson has tried thousands of cases in the criminal and traffic courts throughout the State of New York, and before administrative and regulatory tribunals throughout the country, including the NASD and AAA. He is admitted in NY, PA and DC. Through his years of experience on all sides of the bench and bar, he has selected what he considers to be the finest practitioners as his associates, all with extensive relevant experience.
