Maryam S. Nabavi

Maryam S. Nabavi received her Juris Doctorate degree in April of 2004 from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California where she was an associate writer and editor of Law Review. She is fluent in both spoken and written Farsi and has a Master of Art in Teaching English as a Second Language from San Jose State University. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Nabavi taught English as a second language for five years at the community college level and worked for two years as a researcher/writer for Visfinity Inc., a start up e-commerce company in Menlo Park, California. While attending law school, she interned for Judge Michael Salvador at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in San Diego, California, where she focused on employment discrimination. Ms. Nabavi worked as a contract attorney for Rad Law Group from January of 2005 through June of 2005 before joining the Law Offices of Melissa A. Atteberry where she practices all aspects of family law.
