For twenty-five years we have been negotiating and litigating serious and difficult case for both plaintiffs and defendants in matters related to Legal, Medical, Accounting, Architect, Engineer, Real Estate and Dental malpractice. We have also been continously involved in Medical and Legal Ethics and Discipline issues.
Insurance & Bad Faith
Since 1970 during our work on the Washington State legislative joint committee on insurance, we have been deeply involved in representation of both policy holders and insurance carriers dealing with issues such as bad faith refusal to pay benefits (Auto; Homeowners
; Disability; Life; etc) wrongful handling of valid claims as well as fraudulent claims; coverage and duty to defend issues and the litigation, arbitration and mediation of same.
Products Liability
In countless cases over the years we have been called upon by both plaintiff's and defendants to assist them in resolving claims of injury caused and or allegedly caused by: Defects in the design of a product; failure to provide adequate warnings on a product to protect its user; negligence in the making, marketing and or selling of a product; alteration of a product; misuse of a product; failure to read warnings regarding the dangers associated with the normal use of a product; injuries caused by the negligent warning of the dangerous or deadly properties of substances sold to the public (i.e. ecoli; tainted blood; spoiled food or beverages; product or substance tampering or adulteration by the public (medicine, food, drink). We have achieved enviable results in our work in these important public areas.
Workplace Discrimination
For many years both employers and employees have engaged us to represent their interests in work place problems such as sexual harassment, wrongful discharge and discrimination problems. Also we have helped both employers and employees deal with consumer fraud, deceit and false advertising issues for over 37 years.
Consumer Protection
For 37 years we have been successful in protecting the rights of consumers in both Federal and State courts from harm and damage caused by false and deceptive advertising, shoddy work, fraud, misrepresentation, price gauging, lemon law violatons etc. Most of the State & Federal consumer laws allow a prevailing plaintiff to recover all attorney fees and costs incurred from the at fault person, business or government entity.
