Larry Guzin

Larry Guzin was born in Los Angeles, California in 1946. He attended public school and is a graduate of John Marshall High School. Thereafter he graduated from U.C.L.A. with a Bachelor's degree in English. In 1972 he graduated with a Juris Doctor from U.C.L.A. School of Law. During law school he served as an assistant to the Attorney General of American Samoa in Pago Pago. After admission as an attorney to the State Bar of California he served as a prosecutor with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, where he was Supervisor of Central Trials, Supervisor of the West Los Angeles Branch Office and the Chief of the Central Criminal Operations Division. He has been a partner in Guzin & Steier for the past 25 years. He is rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubble, the highest rating. His avocation is travel to India and the Nepal Himalayas, where he has trekked to the base of Mount Everest several times. He is married to Wendy Guzin and has one child.
