What is an Estate Plan? An Estate Plan is the single most important economic decision that you will ever make. The protection and disposition of your assets, which you have worked so hard to acquire and nurture, shall be at risk without a manageable Estate Plan. The Government Will take Your Money Arcane probate laws and rapacious inheritance taxes either together or separately, burden the administration of your estate and substantially diminish its value. Probate law, with its obsolete vestiges of ancient legal machinations, unnecessarily lead to both a substantial expenditure of the estate's assets, due to costly legal fees (often 40% of an Estate) and the lengthy passage of time to obtain a distribution of assets. Eliminate or Minimize Government Intrusion A properly created Estate Plan eliminates government administration of your will and replaces it with a planned, ordered, management of your assets. Your personal management of your estate will provide for your comfort and welfare while alive and set the plan's course after you die. A Living Trust can Eliminate Probate Court An Estate Plan is not a boiler plate lawyer's document package but a true living trust that can be changed and modified by you throughout your life. When applicable, a properly drafted Estate Plan can save hundreds of thousands of dollars in inheritance taxes.
What We Do This office will create your Estate Plan according to your wishes, place your assets in that plan and teach you, as the trustee of your estate, how to administer it. |
