Soon after starting law school at Santa Clara University, this counsel found rich people could afford any lawyer they wanted and poor people had lawyers appointed for them by the court. It was people in the middle who were priced out of the market. Since 1981, my focus has been on providing affordable legal services to the ordinary folks caught in the middle.
