Carmon & Carmon is engaged in the practice of law internationally.

Since December 1985, the United States Department of Justice has been using our professional foreign legal services as its regular outside counsel, on a case by case basis. We render opinions concerning foreign law and appear on behalf of the U.S. in foreign courts in suits to which the United States is a party. In addition to our work for the Justice Department, we have also been retained by several United States Attorney's offices, Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS), the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

U.S. government agencies have assigned us with the world-wide responsibility (except for the U.S.) of complex multinational and multi-million dollar cases which require work in more than 20 countries. Our lawyers frequently travel internationally on official U.S. government business.

Carmon & Carmon are the founders and the administrators of GLOBALAW, a law firm exclusively dedicated to foreign and international law. Foreign legal services are provided through our own expertise, and by the GLOBALAW Network which links GLOBALAW to affiliated law offices worldwide. The GLOBALAW Network members number 135 independent law firms in 85 countries. GLOBALAW is a law firm, not a legal referral service. GLOBALAW Network members assist us in the foreign law aspects of GLOBALAW's casework where consultation with outside counsel is beneficial to our clients.
