G. Paul Marx has been involved in major litigation and development of the Criminal Law in Louisiana. As Executive Director of the Louisiana Public Defenders' Association, he was instrumental in the creation of a State Public Defender Agency in Louisiana.

Marx has been involved in over two dozen Capital Trials, and has represented a number of defendants in Death Penalty Defense. In nearly 19 years of practice, his experience includes numerous jury trials in criminal and civil cases.

The Bankruptcy element of the practice is primarily consumer oriented, under Chapter 7 or Chapter 13. The firm has also handled objections to discharge for creditors in consumer cases.
